The Backcountry Camp
Date
July 23 -26
2026
Location
L-Z Ranch,
Pagosa Springs, CO
Four days. No walls. No agenda. Just you, a horse, and the wild. This is for the woman who's been craving something real — open sky, firelight, and the kind of quiet that only comes when you're miles from everything familiar.
The Basecamp Experience takes you into Pagosa country on horseback, where you’ll spend four days on a private ranch, sleeping in rugged canvas tents under a canopy of stars, riding half and full-day trails, and living close to the land the way it was meant to be lived. Mornings start with coffee by the fire. Evenings end with stories around it.
But this isn't just a trail ride. You'll come away with real skills, building confidence in the saddle, and learning how to care for a horse out on the trail. The kind of knowledge that opens up a whole new world of what's possible with a horse.
Some experience recommended. Our all-women team meets every rider where she is and makes sure no one gets left behind.
Come for the adventure. Leave knowing you're capable of more than you thought.
Camp is $1,999 for four days.
Four days on horseback in the shadows of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, packing straight into camp from day one. This retreat is intense, for the woman who has been craving something raw, real, and far from her every day life. Sleeping in canvas tents under the stars, riding half and full-day trails across a private ranch, and building real confidence in the saddle. That’s the Backcountry.
